I rarely if ever post to the list to hype a show but hell, I've got to do so
today.
Making their first return to NYC in almost a year (The Real) Tuesday Weld
will be playing at The Living Room on Wednesday, May 5th, at 8:00pm sharp. The
group is an ultra-suave combo from Clerkenwell, London, who have had releases
on PIAS, Six Degrees, Kindercore and Motorway. Musically the group is one part
Serge Gainsbourg, one part Lucus With The Lid Off, a smidge of Ennio Morricone
or I guess a bit of Stephen Merritt but with the ability to sing.
