JIm Peterik wrote and recorded some excellent jangle-pop sides with the
Ides of
March in the mid 60's when they were a Hollies-Searches inspired garage band.
The "Ideology" CD on Sundazed is great. Later on they added those damn horns
like all those Chicagoland bands did after the Buckinghams broke the scene
nationwide.
I saw Survivor open up for several bands in the early 80's but they never made
an impresson on me besides a few good singles like "Summer Nights" from the
"Premonition" album.
