Folks:
Let me second the notion and say that we (If I can be so brave as to
speak on behalf of the rest of Milkshake Jones!) had just a blast
playing our first Dewey PopFest and meeting up with so many friends --
new and old.
Beth -- lovely to see you again, however briefly.
Jeff from Delaware, great to see/meet you as well.
Lauree, Janice, we promise to be playing the next time you schlep out
in the rain to see us at the Lighthouse. A word of explanation -- all
the outside bands at the Lighthouse got moved inside on Friday night,
so we started about 45 minutes early, rather than risk the wrath of
Mother Nature. Drunks, on balance, are easier to handle than lightning
strikes -- but only just.
We got home to Harrisburg a couple of hours ago -- just in time to see
our beloved DC United lose to the Chicago Fire. But I plan to crack the
spines on all the CDs I picked up tomorrow (Cliff, that's you, man). A
veritable pop bonanza, I tell you.
Sorry to have missed Ike and los Bricks (I take some consolation having
seen them on our home turf just last week). But our gear was the
collective backline at the Lighthouse, so I was John The Answer Man
most of the night!

Thanks for a great Friday. Hope to see everyone again soon!

john.
