hey there audities: i thought you guys might be interested in this.
audioscrobbler is a plug-in for mp3 players (iTunes + Winamp) that keeps track
of what you're listening to (anonymously). it then allows you to:
- view a page showing what you've been playing:
http://www.audioscrobbler.com/user/marm0t/
- see similar artists:
http://www.audioscrobbler.com/similar/Jason+Falkner
- see who else has been listening to the same things, and what else they've
got in their playlist:
http://www.audioscrobbler.com/music/Franz+Ferdinand/_/40+ft
- and see what *everyone*'s been listening to:
http://www.audioscrobbler.com/charts/
there's also a group capability, and soon-to-be added functionality will
aggregate the listening habits of everyone in the group. with that in mind,
i've created an Audioscrobbler group for Audities:
