You are quite right, my good man. I was an ARS fan for many years in the
late 70's - early 80's. Had all the vinyl, attended (!) Champagne Jam,
etc. Actually ran into bassist Paul Goddard at a Peaches one night. Had
a couple buddies who attended UGA, so that was my initial connection.
And just to tie in the post that *followed* yours, Mother's Finest were
one of the opening acts for Champagne Jam '78. Along with Eddie Money,
the Doobie Brothers and, uh, I'm forgetting one. Anyone else in
attendance that fine sunny day? I think there were 80-some thousand of
us at Georgia Tech stadium (or maybe that's an inflated number from my
memory. Does that stadium hold that many people?)

ARS rules!! (...dude)

P.S. FOW with Special Guest Evan Dando coming to Dewey Beach this
summer! Far out! Tix are only $15.00!
