I've just bought a copy recently per this list. I also have really
been enjoying it. What influences do people hear?
The big one I hear (as other's have mentioned)is Gang of Four in
terms of the biting guitar licks.

One of my big "wish I would caught them live" is Gang of Four. So,
with the hype of FF's live shows and the comparisons made, that is
all I needed to hear. They are in Minneapolis in a month or so and
I'm excited to see them.
Plus, I live in fear of getting my ass kicked by a woman (Kelly in
this case) thus, I have no choice but to go to the show! :)

Steve
Tangent: Other off the top of my head, "wish I could jump into a time
machine and see them live back in the day"..
James Brown in his prime.
Ike and Tina Turner (remember hyper kinnetic energy of even the
background singers? Wow)
The Jam
All the B bands.
Scott Walker (on a good day)
Kinks (in prime)
OK, this list could go on all day....I'll stop now.
