Oh hey, that reminds me! L.A. Auditeers:

Mike Viola is appearing THIS FRIDAY at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA, with
the Animators. This is a lineup that's near and dear to my heart, as the last
time these two acts played together was the kickoff of my Boston Pop
Underground series, and they absolutely bowled over everyone in the sold-out
venue.

Both acts are in solo (or in the case of the Animators, duo) acoustic format
on the 23rd, but the Animators return to the Hotel Cafe on May 8th in their
unbelievable full-band mode. Their drummer is formerly from "Stomp" and he is
just amazing. I urge you all to catch one or both of these shows.
