The last time it happened was the first time I heard Crowded House's "Nails
In My Feet" with "Your skin is like water on a burning beach, and it brings
relieeeeefff!"
The first time it ever happened to me was the first time I heard the mini
guitar break in The Beatles' "Got To Get You Into My Life".
What I'm refering to is that mystical point where the sound and pitch go in
through my ears and take me to a state of near bliss. It's the sound of pop
perfection that just hits the right chord inside my brain and somehow takes
me somewhere very special.
And now it's happened again with Tears For Fears' "Call Me Mellow" with "And
then she nows it's like a curse, to find our chosen roles reversed. To unify
my universe. To call me mellooowwww whoa."
Ohhhh, this record is good. Very good!
