I saw the Sons a few times. I liked them better in '67, the Sing Me A Rainbow
era. There was only a single at the time, but an album has come out recently on
Big Beat. The sound changed considerably by '68 and I lost interest after the
debut double album. After they pressed it up, Capitol noticed a "Fccc" hidden
on the cover, and they had to scratch it off all the copies!!! I know people
who really love that band, and they were always a big deal in the Bay Area.
