Once upon a time I wrote a couple of very positive reviews about David
Grahame's first two albums. As a result, I'll get an occasional email from
someone asking where they can get a hold of him and/or buy his records. In
the past I've forwarded any known email addresses (always wound up
bouncing), or forwarded messages to people like Alan Haber who might have
had a more direct connection. My personal feelings aside, if I can help
connect person A to musician B, I'm only too glad to take the time. But in
DG's case, the leads always came up dry.
Then in mid-March, after a year of no DG mentions, I see the notes (below)
posted by nonstoppop and Keith Cook and relayed the information to the last
couple of people who have written to me. Turns out that the website listed
below exists, but is completely blank (true, I checked). I tried web
searches and a lot of variations of the name, but nothing.
So...is he just jerking people's chain (again)? I wonder if the bouncing
email notice Keith references below came from the source himself, as the
same thing happened last year before the implosion. Did either of you guys
ever connect and actually GET this record? If so, and if you have any
contact info, please let me know so I can help these people out. I'm
assuming that no stores or online vendors are allowed to sell it based upon
DG's last known philosophy (and a web search turns up no vendors).

I have tried to reply personally twice to the sender to say thank you
for letting me know but the email bounced both times, I hope you are
still reading the messages or whoever forwarded my orginal message on to
them the first time please send a big THANKS again for me. It made my
day!

I for one am another...and plan to order a copy of the disc, as well as
perhaps some
of the others Grahame's now making available again; I haven't picked up any
of his
stuff since "Beatle School." But...and forgive me for being cynical, but I
think
those who survived the last round of discussion on David will
understand...I'll feel
better when the disc or discs actually appear in my mailbox.
