When I worked at Handmade, we did this kind of thing every
now and then -- the Rascals box set, for instance, had been 
released (licensed to) by a Japanese label -- we did our own 
version, but it was pretty much the same. The Coltrane box 
set, too, and the Vee-Jay box, too. I think we called them
"Found Objects." And considering that -- as far as I know --
Universal's Hip-O Select has exactly two (2) employees, a guy
in charge and an assistant, it doesn't surprise me at all that
one of the first things they might release is something that's been
out before, something "easy" to release...I don't think it will be
any kind of reflection on what the label is going to do in the
future...and I hope I get the chance to help them out...Will
somebody over there hire me already!!!!!!?
