The Pixies announced that their first tour in ten years will focus on
smallish venues across the Canadian prairies. The band will be
releasing a bootleg series of all 15 of their "warm up" shows. The
Pixies will travel with a special high-tech truck filled with equipment
that will record each show and print off the CDs on location. They'll
produce 1,000 discs at every stop. Once those 1,000 discs are gone, the
disc will be officially out of print. Up to 500 discs will be available
through <www.disclive.com> and the remainder will be available to those
who attend the show.
