Josh, there are still shows worth listening to on WFMU (Bill Kelly, Dave the Spazz, etc. - though I still miss the Hound). Every once in awhile it is quite nice to listen to the socca etc. on WLIB 1190 AM - when they play music the station has a nice energy. And then of course there is WFAN and WINS and WCBS-AM, but I know this isn't what you mean. Nonetheless, I overall agree with your assesment and rarely look to radio for any music. BTW, does anyone know if the 45 channels on Time-Warner digital have anything worth listening to? It looks like I may be moving a few blocks over in the next few months and my kids are bugging me to get the digital cable, which for a non-TV viewer (other than sports and news) like me, needs some other attraction.
Bill
