(Actually, when the 'Cubes did their 25th anniversary show at the end
of 2002, I was interviewed in the local paper, and I stated that my 3 all-time
favorite groups are The Beatles, The Ramones and The Flashcubes. At the
show, comic Tom Kenny--the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants--picked up on that, and
endorsed that specific pantheon onstage: "Third greatest band ever. The
Beatles, The Ramones and The Flashcubes!"
So there ya have it. Who could argue with SpongeBob Squarepants?)
