Anna...

I'm sorry to see you go, and I hope you'll reconsider. Certainly, none of
my comments were intended to be insulting. Everyone's allowed their own
opinion, so, when someone said they thought the video was terrible, I just
wanted to offer my opinion that I thought it was hilarious. Then things
digressed considerably. And while I'm sure everyone's statements were
legitimate and from the heart regarding the reasons why they didn't like the
video, from my perspective with no insult intended, I really CAN'T wrap it
around my head that someone would watch the video and be bothered by it.
It's lightweight fluff intended to be viewed as being tongue in cheek.
Yeah, I understand that, had they done another direction with, say, an
animated video or what have you, maybe they would've gotten more critical
acclaim. But if they can continue record the albums they want to record and
that Audities list members clearly continue to like, and the only concession
they make for sales is to make kind of a lowest-common-denominator sort of
video in order to catch the eye of mainstream viewers, I just don't see that
as that bad a thing. But, then, I wouldn't, because I thought it was funny
to begin with...

Anyway, as I say, I hope you'll reconsider, but, if not, perhaps I'll spot
you at a pop show in the future, on one coast or another...

Latah,

WILL
