Sadly, Universal has committed all it wants to in the Payolas re-issue
department -- 1996's "Between A Rock And A Hyde Place", and a remastered
version disguised as 20th Century Remasters (featuring a track from their
Capitol Canada period as Rock 'n' Hyde).
When I spoke to Paul Hyde last summer during his co-headlining spot with
Dave Rave on the Grand Song Caravan he had been speaking with Bob Rock about
a potential Payolas recording reunion.
I highly recommend BongoBeat's "Big Book Of Sad Songs" by Hyde....poignant
acoustic fall-down drunk pub poetry (think of it as a more eloquent Pogues).
