Unless you had the good fortune to grow up with them as the soundtrack to
your life (which occasionally was a hard role to play, but I digress). One
of the benefits of being as old as I am is the pure joy of having
experienced the Kinks in real time, both in records and in concert.

Can't argue there. My favorite band of all time.
