Amen to that....we might as well call the R&RHOF what
it truly is..."The Rolling Stone American
R&RHOF"...yes there are some Brits, but usually only
the ones they couldn't get away with not having, like
The Beatles and the Stones...great bands that were big
elsewhere, but not so big in the States don't have a
chance....The Hollies get no respect (even from Graham
Nash...I remember a Mojo issue at the time of the
release of the last CSNY album....each was asked to
pick which was the best band...The Byrds, Buffalo
Springfield, or The Hollies...each picked his own
band...except Nash!)
Don't get me started on The Move...I'm sure most of
the voters for who gets in have no idea who these guys
even are...what a shame....
Even in the US the choices are suspect...Jackson
Browne gets in, but not the Alice Cooper group? Billy
Joel gets in but not Poco (one of my fav's...is there
a better singer than Richie Furay?)?
