You can use Live365's free player to listen to high bandwidth streams. But you
will hear commercials, and you wont be able to hear the improvements that
Mp3pro gives (more sonic punch and high end).
I have thought about upgrading my stations to Mp3pro but its gonna take a long
time to re-encode the 2500+(my estimate) songs I have ripped since I started
Jangle Radio in Dec 1999 and later expanded to 4 stations. If I can ever find
some time I may be upgrading my "Modern Jangle Radio!" station very soon to
56K
Mp3pro Stereo.
