Dude,you were watching Mtv *with* Nina Blackwood? You must have been the
envy of the whole neighborhood. heh heh

But seriously folks..
.to be fair,I think that all of the original vjs had a genuine interest in
the music and the bands. Some were just more knowledgeable than others. I
always thought "Triple J" was one who was more invested in the music and
bands than some of the cue card readers.
Martha Quinn was ,in my opinion, the cutest of the initial batch. I liked
Caroline Haldeman (was that her name?) of the 2nd generation.
Of course Martha earns bonus  indie cred points for being the girlfriend of
Stiv Bators of the Dead Boys/Lords of the New Church. May he rest in peace.

Congrats to Ralph (Bongobeat) for signing the Orchid Highway.I look forward
to their full cd in the future. I have enjoyed their ep ever since I picked
it up on a camping trip up north of Sault Ste Marie,Ontario several years
ago. The Monkees tag seems appropriate.
