In reference to all the A&M catalog requests, I think many of us will be
interested in Hip-O Select - a new label from Universal, not too dissimilar
to Rhino Handmade for WEA. They officially open up as of April 1, but you
can go to their website at http://www.hip-oselect.com and register for the
mailing list, plus get access to an email address to drop your suggestions
for product.
It sounds promising, at least, for a passel of goodies to see daylight from
all the back catalogues that Universal now controls, including Motown, MCA,
Geffen, Mercury, Polygram, A&M and more. Start dreaming.
