About 2 years ago, SONY Canada hired me to design/write liner notes
for a Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush box set (3 cds covering Sony
material + stuff from frank's archives).

The whole thing was designed, delivered, mastered.... and.... never
released due to some last minute reneg by Sony. I'm not really sure.
Anyway, it's sitting there at SONY Canada and I'm sure it can be
adapted to all-Sony material or he can continue the conversation with
Frank, who is actually a very nice guy (the booklet is all in his own
words, based on a very long interview I did at his house). If you
liked my Katrina/Waves liner notes, this was very much like that.

also on the agenda was a Mashmakkan re-issue with recently discovered
live & out-take material, but the guy in charge got moved to another
dept and Sony Canada's re-issue plans all disappeared, unless, of
course, Jaimie Vernon has his way :)
