Two cornerstones of the classical repertoire for guitar are the "Fantasia Para Un Gentilhombre" and the "Concierto de Aranjuez" by Joaquin Rodrigo (1901-1999). My favorite versions of both were recorded by the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, conducted by Neville Marriner, with Pepe Romero as the featured soloist. Lovely stuff.
