Thanks, Jason!

It was amazing to see so many friendly, familiar faces in the audience
last night. I have to echo Jason's sentiments that the acts were very "on"
-- to be able to hear a pin drop during an artist's performance is a very
rate thing indeed, especially in a rowdy college town like Boston. And
this is despite the fact that I don't remember ever seeing the Lizard
Lounge so packed. I was flabbergasted. This bodes really well for the
future of the series, I think.

At the end of the evening, the bartender leaned over to me and said "you
know, it's really nice to hear some great pop music for a change."

I couldn't agree more.

Heartfelt thanks to all who came from near and far to help make it a
success. Next month: Senor Happy (with a new cd) with Bishop Allen and
School for the Dead. Hope to see you there!
