I will be meeting with a Sony music rep next week or so, and he has asked me to collect a few thoughts on LP (vinyl) albums that have become collectable recently that have not come out on CD yet. He runs a small side label that specializes in this kind of thing. I think auditeers would know his release of Cheap Trick's first incarnation FUSE, and possibly his work with Spirit re-releases. Anyway he's looking for a new batch to attack, and I'm trying to swing him over to do a few more power-pop related items. If I can show they have traded recently on ebay for high $, this helps the prospects. Also albums that were done on major labels but went under the radar are good targets (since sony now owns 60% of everything, he can usually secure the rights).
So, any suggestions?
