I do enjoy what I heard of Indie 103, but I was listening when it first
launched and they didn't yet have DJs so if I heard something that I
liked, I had no idea what it was. Has this changed now?

Most of my radio listening though does come from my XM which I got
early last year. I've heard all the bands you listed below. They've even
played The Grays and Jason Falkner as well as people like Kim Fox.
I originally was excited about the Unsigned channel because if you look
on the website for it they list all the bands they play and there is a lot of
audities related stuff on there... Sugarplastic, Candypants, Chewy
Marble, Cliff Hillis... but the only person I've ever recognized on there
was a song by Blake Jones and The Trike Shop. For the most part I
can hardly listen to that channel because it seems like there's a reason
most of these bands are unsigned.

My XM presets are completely taken up by rock stations now. I listen
to Fred, Ethel and Lucy (all three alternative stations.. some of them
play "obscure" , some "hits"), XMU (which is where they play all the
new music including at least 10 songs that made my top songs of 2003
last year.), and I listen to Deep Tracks for Dr. Demento who hasn't
aired here in So. California for about 10 years.

There was talk a few months back about a new station
in L.A. called Indie 103. I have to say, as
embarrassing as it is (we usually listen to excellent

attention longer than most.

They play Interpol, The Shins, The Thrills, BRENDAN
BENSON, Jellyfish...all kinds of stuff. I've heard
new stuff that I eventually went out and bought, just
like the old days!
