i wrote that. if it follows mick and keith, i think of
watts, but as far as people that are one namers
forever and ever, there's no real charlie in my book?
charles mingus? does he go by 'charlie'? (and i can't
believe *i'm* saying that, cause i'm no expert on
jazz... all y'all's classical spiels make me want to
go out and start becoming ... knowledgeable isn't the
word, um... starting to listen?)
on other charlie notes, i'm scared to see the new
charlie and the chocolate factory, but since i'm such
a freak about the gene wilder version, i can't see how
i can't see the new one. i'm just not that much of a
'ohmygodi'msoinlovewithjohnnydepp' person. i hope he
does it justice. c'mon, tim burton, save the day.
(but don't make it too dark and scary...even it roald
dahl had more of that in mind. let us have some hope
in these 'troubled times.' (back to pop reference.) )
