this is why I haven't listened to music radio in about 4 years. I live in
the baltimore/washingtonDC area and used to listen to WHFS 99.1 when they'd
play stuff from Matthew Sweet, Pearl Jam, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Posies,
Tori Amos, Elvis Costello, Counting Crows, Henry Rollins, REM all back to
back. granted, not a huge powerpop group, but it was so varried and just
great stuff coming all the time.

now, it just plain sucks. I haven't listened to really any music radio
except in the *rare* occasion when someone else is in the car with me who is
tired of hearing my powerpop ;)

I tune into the various sports-talk radio stations to keep me entertained.
Sportstalk 980, WNES 1570, 1300, etc...
i'll take Orioles/Ravens/Terps/Caps/Wiz/Skins talk anyday over another sorry
attempt and shoving mediocre artists down my throat.
