Actually, the first person I thought of when I saw the subject "Brucepop" was Mr. Brodeen. But "Rendezvous" is as good as power pop gets, so "Brucepop" could refer to Mr. Springsteen, yes.
When I say "Parthenon", I think auditeers know which "Parthenon" I'm referring to. LOL
