I just got back from doing IPO in Nashville (which went very well, by the
way-I want to thank Arthur Bang for coming all the way out from LA, and it
was great to meet Miles Goosens); I haven't had a chance to read everyone's
choices for rare LPs they'd like to see issued on CD, so please forgive me
if I repeat some of them here.
I could probably list about 500 LPs I'd like to see on CD, but I'll limit it
to a few faves:
The Beckies-The Beckies
We Can Fly-The Cowsills
Skateboard Rampage-The Carvells
Colours-Colours (yeah, I know there's "CD" of this out there, but it ain't
exactly legit)
Dressed For Drowning-Sailor (this is owned by CBS, as it was originally
issued on Portrait in 1980)
Footprint-Gary Wright
Fringe Benefit-S/T
Can You Feel It-Lighthouse
Dreams, Dreams, Dreams-Chilliwack
Riding High-Chillwack (S/T in the US)
Next Stop-Airwaves
The Phlorescent Leech & Eddie-Flo & Eddie
Hawks-S/T (also owned by CBS. My guess is that this one has already been
mentioned)
Guaranteed-The Crackers
So Good-Don And The Goodtimes (excellent soft pop LP which CBS owns)
Beginnings-Rick Springfield
Pacific Ocean Blue-Dennis Wilson (which was released on CD, but is long
out-of-print)
No More, No Less-Blue Ash
All Three Pezband LPs
I'm sure there are several I am forgetting...and yes, I vote for Crazy
Horses, too!
