Jawbreaker's final album, DEAR YOU, has been reissued as a double CD with
plenty of bonuses. For those not familiar, Jawbreaker was a major emo band,
whose lead singer went on to form Jets To Brazil. What I find intriguing is
that DEAR YOU was considered a major disappointment when it came out -- it
was their major label debut and found the band in transition -- indeed, I
think Blake was sowing the seeds for Jets To Brazil. But the perspective on
the album has changed -- it cost big bucks on Ebay and is considered by some
now to be a classic. I haven't listened to it in a while, but I still think
it is just okay. Any other Jawbreaker fans out there care to comment?
