I too was at the Posies show and while it may not have been the best Posies show I've seen, there's still little that can match Ken and Jon's voices together. Really liked the last song of the night which was a total rocker (and would have fit in well on Amazing Disgrace). They had 2 people filming the show and it was being taped back at the soundboard as well. I've got no idea what it will be used for...

Speaking of Harvey Danger, while in one of the record stores out in Seattle, the clerk put on something that was pretty rocking and catchy at the same time. When I asked who it was, he said it was the last Harvey Danger CD. I never really gave them much consideration, but I'll definitely be tracking down a copy of this CD to see if it matches the first song.

Coming out from under my rock after a long absence to chime in on this
thread -- was at the same shows with Anna in Seattle (so good to see you,
girl!) and also thoroughly enjoyed myself. Ken's spitting was a bit much,
but the Posies sounded pretty great. The sound at the place was kinda bad, so
the vocals were unfortunately pretty muted through my earplugs.

I think I liked Braden Blake's CD release a bit better, as it was more
mellow and intimate and varied. BB was not quite his usual self (many
drinkies in honor of himself), but sounded great. He played a number of tracks
solo backed by music off his disc. I think he played the whole record? He had
quite a who's-who of Seattle musicians perform a tune or cover or two.. Robb
Benson was fantastic, as Anna raved, though I'm biased since he's been a
friend for some time. He's one of Seattle's best songwriters; hear some
soundclips at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/ref=dp_sr_00/102-8789774-2107300.
For a bit of trivia (hopefully he won't mind my sharing), he used to be
involved with and co-write songs with Michelle Price, who's now engaged to
Jon Auer. Nevada Bachelors, one of his old bands, was one of my favorite
Seattle live bands.

Finally, Robb excitedly told me the night of Braden's show that Sean
Nelson had just told me Harvey Danger are reuniting. For what it's worth..

That's it for now!
