Let this be a warning to you all, don't miss a day of Audities!! I go a few days without it, then find that a fellow Auditeer is right in my neighborhood. Dave, I live in River Hill, which is adjacent to Clarksville, and you'll soon learn there is absolutly no nightlife around here. Fortunately, it's only a half-hour to either Baltimore or D.C. Feel free to shoot me a message in advance the next time you visit the area.
Anyway... it's 6:30 pm on Saturday night, so it's probably too late to hook up now, but I'm seeing Crack The Sky tonight at the Recher Theater in Towson with my wife and others who were fans of theirs back in the late '70s / early '80s. If I had read my Audities List every day, I would have learned that The Undertones are playing in D.C. tonight (not that I could've changed my plans)and The Church are in Annapolis tomorrow (and I've also got plans). Argh!! Two shows I'd love to see...
For used CD's, check out a place only 10 minutes away on Main Street in Ellicott City called "The Store That Cannot Be Named." I'm not sure if it's still open, but when I went there last summer it was a very cool little store with a small, but excellent selection of music, plus great Stooges / Radio Birdman / MC5 / Velvet Underground t-shirts and some bootlegs.
