hey everyone, my thoughts on this are:
demos are made by the artist at home (generally), in a relaxed atmsophere at
the "inception" of the song.
whereas album tracks are recorded in a stale invironment, months/years after
the initial spark, with a clock ticking out expensive studio time and
strangers throwing in their 2 cents (whether wanted or not).
the question: could cotton mather's "kontiki" have been made at (insert big
bidget studio name here)?? impossible!!
