Katrina & The Waves recorded two albums for a Canadian label before signing
on with an American label. For their major label debut, they re-recorded a
number of the songs on the original albums, one being the ubiquitous
"Walking On Sunshine".

I remember playing the original version for a group of friends whose ears
were accustomed to the re-recorded radio version. They thought my turntable
was set to the wrong speed!

Yes, I know I'm old.
