I just heard a horrible dance/techno remix of the song on my local CHR
station.
Some people cant leave a good song alone.
The original is still the best, though its a record that defines what I
dislike
about production techniques of the 80's - that "airy" digital reverb every
engineer was using at the time, percussion and handclaps ran through gated
reverb (thank you Phil Collins) and those "breathy" digital synths like the
Yamaha DX-7. Sounded cool back then, but very dated now.
