It was a thought about Ego vs. Vision that got me thinking about whether an
artist had more success with self production.
Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, and Todd are good examples.
I'll contribute Jimmy Page (though you gotta add money as a reason too I
guess).
Talking about jason Falkner's upcoming release got a friend and me talking
about this in a different way (performing all instruments vs involving
others).
