I am really looking forward to checking this out - unfortunately the webstream here at work is non-cooperative. On a related note: does anyone know why Bob Brainen chose (or was it a choice?) to stop doing his weekly broadcast at WFMU? I didn't get to listen very often, but was consistently amazed at the wonderful vibe of his program (still archived!). It looks like late last year he...sorta dwindled out. The program titles make it sound like this was his choice, but then .... the online message board suggests it could have been a scheduling decision. Anyone know the straight dope?

Did anyone get to listen to the show?
It was excellent! Four hours of tasteful music selected by Mr. Bango and his writing partner and live performances too. He played unreleased stuff too! Excellent music, impeccable choices. Started off with There's A Place... you know it's going to be a good show after that. And amazing to think it was from 2 to 6 a.m.!
Don't miss it! In the WFMU archives in stereo for two weeks or so!

Francesc
