I didn't really get into "One Nil" much until I'd seen Neil play much of the
material live.  "Human Kindness" in particular strikes me as one that really
comes across better in full Rock Out mode (as much as Neil ever really rocks
out).

And while I agree that "Lullaby Requiem" is absolutely beautiful, my
understanding is that it was written in memory of his mother.  Not that it's
necessarily *only* about that, of course.  That said, I believe he's said
that "Human Kindness" was inspired by 9/11, particularly how we have the
capacity to overcome adversity and evil.  That's a very loose paraphrase,
but I think it's the gist.

I definitely think of "One Nil"as Neil's finest work."Hole in the Ice","Rest

of the day off".and "Into the Sunset" stand out.But the classic is "Lullaby 
Requiem"-still the best post 911 song ever.It gives me chills just
