These are both great, absolutely wonderful psych pop and soft pop!  A nice
mix of obscurities and more common stuff, and excellent liners by Andrew
Sandoval.  Every fan of late '60s pop needs to have these!

I'm really glad to see Rhino using the term "soft pop" in their press
release.  I never liked "soft rock" being applied to this genre, because it
has long carried the connotation of '70s music a la Bread, Seals and Crofts,
The Eagles etc...and while those are fine bands, their music is obviously a
lot different from the kind of stuff on these Nuggets comps.
