I think the new Norah Jones disc is definitely an improvement over her
debut. She stretches out into some country and some folk while still
keeping that jazz sound. For the most part, the songs are much more
upbeat and less sleepy. She also does a great cover of Tom Waits' "The
Long Way Home."

I liked her debut at first, but found it to be sleep inducing after
awhile.
It was relegated to background music, more so than something I would put
on just to sit and hear. -
That being said the new one has impressed me very much so. I have only
listened a few times, but find it more enjoyable than her first one.
