"Troubled Times" is one of those songs that moves me
every time I hear it. It's a big reason that 'Utopia
Parkway' is by far my favorite Fountains of Wayne
record (and I really like the other two, so that's
saying something). But between "Red Dragon Tattoo"
and "It Must Be Summer" for the peppy moods, and
"Troubled Times" and "Prom Theme" for those moments of
pleasant melancholy (is that an oxymoron?), how can
you go wrong?

P.S. I still suggest that everyone looking for a big,
majestic, but still cheeky pop record go out and get
Ballboy's 'A Guide for the Daylight Hours.'
