And that was even before his John Hiatt days, which pre-date his TP days.
Steven T, the LA punker, was on guitar and Howie was on bass and John was on
alcohol (and coke, probably). Hiatt doesn't even play songs from that period
anymore, he's trying to blot it out so badly, but man that band rocked! (my
apologies to the forgotten drummer - I could look it up but that would
involve standing, squatting, standing and sitting in that order. Too late,
too tired)
