Heya Bill,
Howie Day is who the 'phonics are opening for in Denver. I hadn't heard his
tunes, but listened at his website and watched a vid where he talks about
how different making this disc was from making his first one. I liked what I
heard and plan to purchase his latest disc to familiarize myself with his
tunes pre-show.
It'll be my 14 year old's first concert...so we're both pretty stoked and he
has been listening to the 'phonics in preparation. He also keeps stealing my
new Rosenbergs disc! It's great to hear such sounds coming from his
room...and a lot of fun to tease him about how he once liked N'Sync...etc.
and watch him CRINGE and wince in embarrasment/disgust. Ah..revenge is
sweet.
Thanks for the tip on the HD dvd...I'll have to check it out.
