Gord Nicholl the keyboard player, runs
a cool new studio called Paramount Recorders
here in Vancouver with ex-Modernettes singer/guitarist
Buck Cherry (aka John Armstrong).
it's an old house that they've wired up and great for acoustic
based sounds. They record to hard drive via all sorts of vintage
gear and mikes. I just did a new signing, Kevin House

there.
John and I were both promoting our respective books at an event
a year or two ago, and I managed to cajole both him and Gord to back me
for a short set - really cool in a Seeds/Doors way...
