Zulu Records here in Vancouver issued the Pointed Sticks cd (which i designed)
and they've been talking about re-issuing it and revamping the liner notes.
I had a meeting with them about it but it seems to be on the backburner...
i guess i should bring it up again :)
Bill Napier-Hemy, the guitarist, plays on the Volumizer cd, "Gaga for
Gigi" which
is his wife's project (she used to be Jade Blade in the Dishrags) but
definitely NOT
pop in any way as we perceive it. It's on the Mint label.
He also plays guitar on two spoken word cds by long time associate
Phil Smith (i have
no idea how to order them). He is currently a music teacher at a
special school here in Vancouver
and every year produces a compilation cd by his students that he also
plays on - we donate
our design & mfg services to him. The CDs are called LISTEN UP! and
are very eclectic in scope
(pop/hard rock, etc....outsider music that's well played, I guess)...
i have a few extra of these
if anyone wants one, just paypal me the postage (email me first, i
have Vol 4 & Vol 5).
