Apologies to the anti-Darkness brigade out there...

I only brought up this thread in light of a recent column in
SPIN Magazine that *theorized* on the reasons for the vast
differences in poularity of this band in the UK vs. the US.
The basic (albeit crude) theory from writer Mark Klosterman
was that Americans seem to have forgotten how to rock out
and have a good laugh at the same time. Yes...dumb theory...
but an itneresting, thought-provoking read, especially since
alot of my fellow countrymen (on this list and elsewhere)
don't view the Darkness as a legitimate, serious rock band!
