I would generally conclude, that the first three Edgar Winter records,
White Trash, They Only come Out at Night, and Shock Treatment were his
watershed pop-rock efforts.
His band at this point included important contributions from both Rick
Derringer and Dan Hartman. Dan Hartman went on to release his first solo
album, Images, that was very poppy much in the vain of the Edgar Winter
Material.
