I've been reading the sociological/historical/anthropological discourses on
the Darkness for the last day or so and have just about fallen out of my
chair over the fact that people have gotten so worked up over a dumb rock
band (And I mean that in the best possible sense of the word).
No one is required to "get" or "not get" The Darkness.
This isn't deathless art, folks, it's just some three-chord stomping by a
guy with bad teeth and a jumpsuit a size or two too small.
If your ass wiggles and feet move when you hear the "Thing Called Love"
single, you get it. If it don't, well, there's always AC/DC. (Please tell me
that Yanks get them!)
