Muchas gracias to whoever pointed me toward the Tiny Volcano disc
(www.tinyvolcano.com).
In addition to the obvious Jellyfish and Owsley similarities I hear a
very nice Brian Wilson by way of Sean O'Hagan vibe on a couple of the
tracks. Nice instrumentation too, with cellos and Beatlesque brass
flourishes here and there.
I also didn't realize that these were the same guys that recorded as
Liar's Club a few years back--which I also enjoyed.
Nothing revolutionary, but definitely worth checking out.
